Hi there and welcome to RobbyGurl's Creations! My name is Robin and I am a happily married mother of 3. Technically 5 if you want to include our 2 chinchillas. Anyways, I've been making little creations pretty much my whole life, but it became a regular habit for me when I got called to be a primary teacher in the junior primary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. (Yes, I am mormon, no it's not a cult, and no my husband does not have more than one wife, nor will he ever! If you have any other questions about the church, please feel free to ask!) Anyways, I found that the primary kids looked forward to coloring a picture at the end of each lesson, and I figured they needed to color something that had to do with the lesson so that it better helped them to retain the lesson information as well.
When my son got older, I had to start finding things to keep him busy. He is by no means a coloring kid, and doesn't like to sit and do one activity at a time, so I started making thing for my kids, along with my primary handouts. Then I got called into Young Womens and that opened up a whole new world of creativity in my head. I LOVED young womens growing up and I wanted to be the kind of leaders that I had. I don't know if I accomplished it, but I made sure those girls had a handout every Sunday that I taught, and I tried my hardest to get those girls interested in Personal Progress. Whether or not I was successful, I'll never know as I was released just 2 short years after I was called, but I hope I at least planted a seed.
After I was released from Young Women's I fou Pinterest, and that opened up a world of not only crafts, but recipes, organizational ideas, and hundreds of tips for cleaning! I immediately fell in love with Pinterest and I love the many ideas it has given me! I'm sure most of you found me through pinterest, and if I had to guess right, you came for the Menu Board, one of my most greatest creations! I am so proud of it and I am so thankful to have thought up the idea, as it has truly saved my sanity at dinner time and our family's monthly budget. I hope you can find other things here that you fancy and would enjoy making.
If you ever have a question or comment, please feel free to email me! I would love to help you or hear what you have to say!
