My aunt just sent me this food benefits chart through my email yesterday and I thought it was so cool I HAD to put it up on my blog. I'm sure many of you may have seen this already, but for those of you who haven't, I'm sure you'll be just as happy to have found it as I am. Sorry, rice is a killer for diabetics..
ReplyDeletewild rice, or brown rice is quite good for diabetics. The fibre is essential, and the glycemic index is low, which means it releases the carbohydrates into sugar more slowly. White rice, and parboiled rice IS a killer however. It's about the same as eating pure sugar.
