
Here are the originals that I got my idea from for the animals....As you can tell from this picture and looking at our finished product that ours didn't turn out quite the same and are slightly different colors and sizes...and out "dog" looks more like a "bear" lol. Also, here is the link for the website I found them on...you can actually purchase the shapes for this animal, I found it cheaper to make my own shapes using my Print Master computer program.

For the Bee you will need the following shapes:
1 large yellow circle for the body
2 thick black rectangles for the stripes
2 short and skinny black rectangles for the antenna's
2 medium sized black heart for the head
2 small circles for the eyes (I used bullseyes)
1 small red heart for the Bee's "heart"
2 medium sized "teardrops" for the wings.
For the Lady Bug you will need the following shapes:
1 large black circle for the body
1 large red heart for the wings (the same size as the large black circle)
1 medium sized red heart for the head
2 small heart for the tops of the antenna's
6 long and skinny rectangles for the legs
2 short and skinny rectangles for the antenna's
6 small black circles for the polka dots
2 small circles for the eyes.
For the Cat you will need the following shapes:
1 large circle (your choice in color) for the head
2 small circles for the eyes
1 small heart for the nose
1 small circle for the top of the nose
2 medium sized hearts for the ears
6 long and skinny rectangles for the whiskers
A marker to draw the mouth on yourself :)
For the Dog you will need the following shapes:
1 large circle (your choice in color) for the head
2 large "teardrops" for the ears (as you can see ours were too small lol)
2 small circles for the eyes
1 medium sized heart for the nose
1 small circle for the center of the nose
A marker to draw the mouth on yourself :)
I took the craft one step further and attached yarn to the animals and to a small hanger to make a "mobile" so as to make it easier for the kids to display what they made.
